Our Teachers

Laura Duguay
Ms. Laura is our Center Director.  She has been with our Center for 10+ years.  Beginning as one of our highly qualified teachers, she holds a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University and an Educational Assistant Diploma from Conestoga College in Ontario, Canada. She has a State of Ohio Certificate of Training in Child Development  Ms. D believes “reading to your children every night is a priceless gift you can give them”. When Ms. D. is not spending time with her 3 children she enjoys scrapbooking, and socializing with friends.

Vicki Brant
Ms.Vicki has been with our Center for 10+ years.  She has been both a Teacher and Director at both the Infant and Main Center.  Ms. Vicki believes each child is a special gift from God. They grow and learn in their own way. “My job as a Pre-school teacher, is to provide activities and opportunities to discover and learn about their world”. The best way to discover new things is through exploration, asking questions, and getting dirty! Vicki holds a State of Ohio Certificate of Training in Child Development  and is cerfied in CPR, Child Abuse, Communicable Disease and First Aid. Vicki has a BS in Education and Early Childhood Ed. She has continued her education through a variety of classes and college work throughout her 28 year teaching career. She has had several ideas published in The Mailbox Magazine. When she is not teaching, Ms. Vicki is trying to keep up with her children, grandchildren, pets and husband. She is also very active in the children’s programs at her church. Her class motto: “Try and Try but do not Cry that’s how we learn new things!”

Donna Adams
Ms. Donna is one of our dedicated infant center teachers. She has been with our Center for 10+ years.  Her philosophy that every child is an individual with individual needs, shines in her patient teaching style. She has training in working with autistic children through the use of therapy. She is certified in CPR, Child Abuse, Communicable Disease and First Aide. Ms. Donna enjoys crossword puzzles and spending time with her two grandchildren. 

Ann Morrison
Ms. Ann has worked at our Center for 20+ years.  Although she has retired, she continues to be a part of our Aurora Childrens family, helping with special events and subbing in the classrooms!  She is dedicated and loved by parents and children whom she has known for years. She takes pride in her years teaching and upkeep of the center.  Ann has a BA degree from Cleveland State University and a State of Ohio Certificate of Training in Child Development. She is also certified in CPR, Child Abuse, Communicable Disease and First Aid. Ms. Ann believes “every child can learn, they do it at their own pace. When Ann is not teaching or spending time with her 3 children and 2 grandchildren, she is gardening and reading.
